Reiki
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive ancient Japanese energy healing practice that promotes deep relaxation, stress relief, and overall well-being. Derived from the words "rei", meaning “universal” and "ki" meaning “life force energy,” Reiki is known to help in restoring the body’s natural energy flow facilitating healing on all levels.

During a Reiki session, the practitioner uses hands-on healing to channel life force energy and help bring the natural energy flow in the body back to balance. When the energy in the body is balanced, it is easier for the healing functions of the body to kick in. It works in harmony with the body’s innate ability to heal, encouraging balance and restoration while supporting physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual healing.

Reiki is not tied to any religion or belief system, and is accessible to everyone, offering a safe, soothing experience that nurtures the whole self.

What happens in a session?
At the start of a session, we will check in for about 10 minutes to get an idea of what your needs are and set an intention. During the session, you will be lying down, fully clothed, while I place my hand in different places on the body. I usually incorporate essential oils, crystals, sound, incense, and oracle cards to enhance the experience. At the end of the session, we will take some time to talk about anything that came up and process the experience together.
